Artan Shabani, contemporary artist and Albanian curator, was born in Vlora. In the early 90s he settled in Italy, later in France and in Spain, where he worked on various art projects collaborating with museums, galleries, collections and art biennials. Artan Shabani founded a space dedicated to contemporary art in Vlora. Shabani has created pictorial cycles with an Albanian theme and landscapes or compositions with strong expressive tendencies. Artan Shabani is a participant in many group exhibitions and solo exhibitions. He has exhibited in Israel, Finland, Spain, France, Italy, Turkey, USA, Austria, etc. Shabani has carried out a series of curations in various museums and galleries.
