In Catanzaro, Italy, the biweekly political, literary and cultural newspaper “La nazione Albanese” (“The Albanian nation”) with 12-16 pages was published. It was directed by the Arbëresh Anselmo Lorecchio. The newspaper contains rich material on the history of Albania, memoranda and protests of Albanians submitted to the Great Powers for the protection of national rights, correspondence from Albania, announcements about the events of the time. He published the Italian translation of Marin Barleti’s work “History of Skanderbeg’s life and work”, of Sami Frashëri’s work “Albania what was, what is and what will become”. Jeronim de Rada, Zef Serembe, Visarion Dodani also collaborated. (In the photo: View from the page of the newspaper “La nacione Albanese”.)
