Abdyl Frashëri, the ideator and one of the main leaders of the Albanian League of Prizren, as well as a politician and diplomat, passed away in Istanbul.
In Shkodër, the first issue of the newspaper "Republika" (1923–1925) was published, a weekly political, social, and cultural newspaper; it was also partially published in French.
Sali Butka, an activist of the movement for national liberation and the defense of the territorial integrity of the country during the National Renaissance, passed away. He was born in the village of Butkë in Kolonje in 1857.
