Agron Gashi, actor, was born in Elbasan. During the years 1949-1951 he was an actor at the Army Theatre, ’54-’62 at the People’s Theatre, afterward he worked as a teacher at the Tirana High School of Culture (’62-’68). Gashi also served as an editor of publications at the Central House of Popular Creativity (’70–’75), and as a theater specialist at the National Center for the Qualification of Culture Staff (’80–’90). Throughout his career, Agron Gashi contributed significantly to the preparation and professional development of actors and directors emerging from the amateur movement, as well as cultural leaders in various districts and production units.
