Tahir Demi, politician, was executed. He was born in Filat, Ҫameri, Greece. Former chairman of the Executive Committee of Elbasan, sentenced with the “Ҫam” group of Teme Sejko. On May 15, 1961, by decision no. 5, the Supreme Court sentenced him for “treason against the homeland,” “organizing and participating in armed bands,” and “agitation propaganda.” He was sentenced to death, confiscation of property, loss of electoral rights for 5 years, removal of rank and decoration.
