Tirana, capital of Albania.

Lexo ngjarje:

Tirana became the capital of Albania. At that time, Tirana had 15 000 inhabitants. After the completion of the work of the Congress of Lushnja, the members of the High Council and the government, who were in Lushnja, left to settle in Durrës. But, due to the opposition of the Italian invaders and the previous governors, they could not enter this city. They made their way to Tirana, where they arrived on February 11, enthusiastically welcomed by the people. After the designation of the capital, all the provinces administered by Durrës, quickly connected with the new government of Tirana and began to act according to its orders. The National Government of Tirana started its activity as an independent organization, headed by the Supreme Council elected by the Congress. (In the photo: View from Tirana in 1920.)
