The Peace Treaty with Italy was signed in Paris. This international document obliges Italy to recognize and respect the independence, sovereignty and integrity of the Albanian State, including the island of Sazan, to renounce all rights, concessions, interests and benefits of any kind in Albania, acquired as a result of the aggression of April 7, 1939, as well as on the basis of the agreements concluded before this date, to return the valuables seized from Albania, to arrest and hand over all Albanian war criminals and those Italians who had committed crimes, in order to be judged in Albania. In October 1947, our country ratified the Peace Treaty with Italy. (In the picture: Part of the Peace Treaty with Italy.)
