The first Albanian school opens in Pogradec. Thanks to the efforts of Pogradec patriots, the first Albanian school in Pogradec was opened, and the second was opened in Albania, after the one in Korça. Koço Sotiri, Pandeli Sotiri’s brother, taught at this school. With the opening of the Albanian School in Pogradec, the printing house in Bucharest became even more intense due to the number of books needed in this school. (In the photo: Teacher Koço Sotiri)
