In Saint-Louis and in Philadelphia (USA), the first issue of the newspaper”E vërteta” (“Truth”) (1920-1923), a political, social and cultural newspaper, was published. It continued up to no. 14 intermittently. It called itself an “independent and impartial body” and gave a lot of space to controversies and personal attacks. Some translated fragments from Marin Barleti’s “Historia e Skënderbeut” (“History of Skanderbeg”) were published in it. (Pictured: Saint-Louis (USA), 1920.)
