The new chairmanship of “Drita” society of Romania was elected. This society continued its activity under the direction of Nikolla Naço, publishing the newspaper “Shqiptari” (“The Albanian”) (1888), opening the Albanian-Vlach Normal School (1892) for the preparation of Albanian teachers, as well as financially helping Albanian schools in Albania. In 1906, the Bucharest societies “Dituria”, “Shpresa” and partly “Drita” were merged into the society “Bashkimi”. (In the photo: “Drita” patriotic society, Romania.)
