On May 8, the Turkish units launched a mass attack, but met the determined resistance of the Albanians. Repeated attacks on May 9&ndash;10 tore through the insurgents&#8217; defense sector in Jezerc. On May 11, Ottoman forces and two other groups assisted by several new battalions from Prizren and Mitrovica surrounded Isa Boletini&#8217;s group. In the afternoon, the insurgents broke the siege and retreated towards Drenica.
