He was born in Portocannone, Molise, Italy. Bulmeti arrived in Albania at the end of 1991, shortly after the fall of the communist regime, after returning from a brief mission in Madagascar. He was born in a place of Albanian origin and strongly felt the Albanian blood and the nostalgia for his ancient roots within himself. Father Bulmeti served as a parish priest in Gur&euml;z (Lezh&euml;).
