After a serious illness, Kol\u00eb Kaftalli, actor of the theater “Migjeni”, Shkod\u00ebr and Albanian cinematography, well-known director of the Albanian stage, passed away. He was born in Shkod\u00ebr, in 1946. He comes from a prominent family of artists. One of the well-known names of performing arts, especially in the city of Shkodra. He graduated from the Institute of Fine Arts in Tirana. After graduation, he started working at the theater “Migjeni” in Shkod\u00ebr. With the troupe of this theater, he performed about 60 dramas and comedies, including some in the National Theater. He performed in various roles in 7 feature films of \u201cKinostudio<\/i>\u201d. In 1978, he made his film debut with a small role in “Nusja dhe shtetrrethimi” (\u201cThe bride and the siege\u201d). Among other films can be mentioned: “Dit\u00ebt q\u00eb soll\u00ebn pranver\u00ebn\u201d (\u201cThe days that brought spring\u201d)(1979), “Qortimet e vjesht\u00ebs” (\u201cAutumn\u2019s reproaches\u201d) (1982), “Flaka e maleve” (\u201cThe flame of the mountains\u201d) (1982), “Njeriu i mir\u00eb” (\u201cThe good man\u201d) (1982), “T\u00eb paftuarit” (\u201cThe uninvited\u201d) (1985), “Kur hapen dyert e jet\u00ebs” (\u201cWhen the doors of life open\u201d) (1986), “Nj\u00eb i tret\u00eb” (\u201cThird person\u201d)(1988) etc. Part of Kol\u00eb Kaftalli’s artistic career has also been directing, which includes several dramas staged by him in the city of Shkodra. In the last period of his life, he devoted himself to children’s theater, being the first in the city of Shkodra and in the north of Albania to set up a puppet theater.
