The “Epic of the Red Hill”, the heroic resistance of Vojo Kushi, commander of the guerrilla units of Tirana, and his friends Sadik Stavileci and Xhoxhi Martini took place. They were suddenly surrounded by fascists in a base of the Anti-Fascist National Liberation War (the house of patriot Ije Farka), in the “Kodra e Kuqe” (\u201cRed Hill\u201d) neighborhood of Tirana. Many fascist forces accompanied by tanks and armored cars took part in the operation. After several hours of fighting, Djorxhi and Sadiku fell. The enemy attacked Vojo Kushi with tanks, which knocked down the wall of the house and the roof of the room where he was fighting. Vojo Kushi jumped on one of them, in order to open the steel hatch and destroy the crew, but was hit to death by the other tank.
