Sulejman Krasniqi, a writer, passed away in Tirana. He was born in Ho\u00e7\u00eb e Vog\u00ebl, Rahovec (Kosovo) in 1937. He completed his primary education in his hometown, and later attended high school in Prizren. After being imprisoned while still a student, he escaped to Albania. For some time, he lived in the migrant settlement in Llakatund, Vlor\u00eb, before being interned in Seman and Levan in Fier. Later, he worked as an accountant in Berat. From 1963 to 1967, he pursued studies in Albanian language and literature at the Faculty of History and Philology, University of Tirana. After completing his studies, he worked as a teacher in high schools in Mat and Tirana until 1982, when he became a full-time writer.<\/p>\n
In the periodical press, he wrote sketches, short stories, articles, reports, pamphlets, and more. He wrote his first novel while working as a teacher in Klos, Mat. He later published numerous works, including novels, short stories, plays, and more. Some of his published works include: “Tri motra, tri histori”<\/i> (1972), “N\u00eb shpell\u00ebn e bandit\u00ebve”<\/i> (1973), “Prij\u00ebsja e komit\u00ebve”<\/i> (1975), “Mic Sokoli”<\/i> (1979), “Pushka top Bajram Curri”<\/i> (1982), “Oso Kuka”<\/i> (1990), “Rapsodia e kosovares”<\/i> (2001), as well as journalistic books “Shqiptarofobia e serbom\u00ebdhenjve”<\/i> (1990) and “Evrop\u00eb deri kur do t\u00eb keqp\u00ebrdor\u00ebsh durimin e Kosov\u00ebs shqiptare”<\/i> (1997). He was awarded the Republic\u2019s Prize and decorated with the “Order of Labor” by the Assembly of Albania.(In the photograph: Sulejman Krasniqi)<\/i><\/p>\n
