Ludwig Thalloczy, Hungarian historian, passed away in Herceghalom, Hungary. He was born in 1854. Ludwig Thalloczy is one of the most famous researchers of the history of the Balkan countries. He was particularly devoted to Hungary’s relations with the South Slavs in the Middle Ages. In this context, he prepared and published documentary volumes, such as: documents on Lower Slavonia, on Serbian-Hungarian relations, a publication with documents on the Bosnian city of Jajce, another on the military borders of Croatia, etc. Ludwig Thalloczy, in collaboration with Konstantin Jire\u010dek and Milan \u0160ufflay, prepared and published the major work in two volumes “Acta et Diplomata res Albaniae mediae aetatis illustrantia” <\/i>.
