He was killed in the war fighting against Serbian military forces in the mountains of Pashtrik; Haxhi Hoti, a fighter of the Kosovo Liberation Army, was a martyr of the nation. He was born in Rogov\u00eb, Gjakova, in 1967. He lived in Switzerland until 1997 and then returned to Kosovo. In March 1998, he made the first contact with members of the Kosovo Liberation Army. He was appointed coordinator to establish the first military units in the villages of Has. In the beginning, the activity of these units was the logistical support for the soldiers of the Kosovo Liberation Army, who passed through the villages of Has to Albania to be supplied with weapons. In 1998, while leading a convoy of members of the Kosovo Liberation Army returning to Kosovo, he was killed in a war fighting against Serbian military forces.
