In the battles fought in the Battle of Koshare, Xhemajl Fetahaj, a fighter of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), Hero of Kosovo, was killed. He was born in Raushiq, Peja, on May 27, 1964. He attended the High School of Economics in Peja and continued his studies at the Faculty of Agriculture in Prishtina. In January 1984, he was imprisoned and sentenced to 6 years. After his release from prison in 1988, he became involved in actions for reconciliation. In the 1990s, he emigrated to Germany, where he became involved in the structures of the People’s Movement of Kosovo (LPK) and the “Homeland Calls” fund. With the start of the war in Kosovo, he joined the ranks of the Kosovo Liberation Army. After joining this front in Koshare, he took on the role of commander of the commando forces “Delta.” On May 31, he fell heroically while performing his duties.
