He was born in Piqeras, Saranda, in 1916. During his mandatory military service (1942), he connected with communist elements. He joined the partisan ranks in Peza (March, 1942) and then went to his homeland (August, 1942), where he worked for the organization of the Anti-Fascist National Liberation War. Partisan in the &#8220;Hajredin Tremishti&#8221; detachment since its formation (1942). Member of the Albanian Communist Party, in 1942.
