Head of the National Lyceum (French) in Kor\u00e7a. He started publishing in the \u201830s in the press of the time. In the articles he published in the magazine &#8220;Bota e Re&#8221;, he asked for a realistic literature, with a democratic and social spirit. He actively participated in the Anti-Fascist National Liberation War; had high positions in the army and then in the state administration and diplomacy. He translated mainly from French literature, bringing into Albanian, with a lively and colorful language, masterpieces such as: <i>&#8220;Rameau&#8217;s Nephew&#8221;<\/i> (Diderot), <i>&#8220;The Miserables&#8221;<\/i> (V. Hygo), <i>&#8220;Lucien Leuwen&#8221;<\/i> (Stendhal), <i>&#8220;The Little Thing&#8221;<\/i> (A. Daudet), <i>&#8220;Colas Breugnon &#8220;<\/i> (R.
