In 1973, he went to New York, where he began his career as a comedian, initially in night clubs. His success led him to feature television programs (<i>Saturday Night Live)<\/i>. John Belushi simultaneously played in movies, on TV and sang in the &#8220;Blues Brothers&#8221; ensemble, which was very popular. From 1979, he devoted himself more to film. Although he had a short life, he acted in 6 films: &#8220;South Pass&#8221; (director Jack Nicolson, 1977), &#8220;Animal House&#8221; (director John Landis, 1978), &#8220;1941&#8221; (director Steven Spielberg, 1979), &#8221; The Blues Brothers&#8221; (director John Landis, 1980) and &#8220;The Neighbors&#8221; (director John G.
