Memo Meto (1910-1944), activist of the Anti-Fascist National Liberation War, poet, and Hero of the People, was born in Kuç of Kurvelesh. He was a member of the Albanian Communist Party immediately after its foundation. One of the organizers of the war of the people of Kurvelesh against the fascist occupation. Helped in the creation of partisan detachments. Took part in the Battle of Gjorm (1943). Ballast units killed him in Kuç of Kurvelesh. (In the photo: Memo Meto)
