In Venice, the Venedic of that time, the famous Italian composer Antonio Vivaldi was born. One of the operas composed by him, “Skanderbeg”, was staged in Florence in 1718. This part of the work became known to the Albanian public in December 2003, when it was staged in a Christmas concert by the Female Choir and the String Orchestra of the Academy of Arts in Tirana, directed by master Milto Vako, alongside the opera “Skanderbeg” by Prenk Jakova. The figure of Skanderbeg has been immortalized in a series of artistic works, which have entered the golden fund of world art. (In the photo: Portrait of Antonio Vivaldi)
