In Tirana, the first issue of the newspaper “Mësuesi“ (“The Teacher”), a weekly, educational, and cultural newspaper, published by the Ministry of Education and Science of Albania, was published. The first editor-in-chief was Bedri Dedja. Various aspects of activities in the field of education, culture and science were reflected in it. The main column was occupied by the issues of the content of the teaching-educational process, of subjects and textbooks, the work of teachers and teaching methods, the education of students with the spirit of democracy. Problems of educational reform, management, qualification, etc. were addressed in separate sections. An important column was dedicated to the best traditions of education and the Albanian school. In the role of the pedagogical press, the “Mësuesi” newspaper served as a daily helper for the concrete work of teachers and education leaders.
